The radiant heat from the lamp itself is low. The glass tube and aluminum frame of the lamp absorb and dissipate the generated heat. However, we do not recommend you touch the lamp the tube bulb when it is switched on.

The PARCA® light tube was developed by us as the first of its kind especially for the illumination of oil paintings. The tube consists of a 10 mm glass tube in which small incandescent lamps are mounted close together. Each small bulb has an output of 1,2 W, which means that the heat emission is low. The heat is therefore distributed evenly over the entire width of the painting.
